The Development Process: Design and Surveys

We would then carry out the survey of each property; this is without a doubt the key part of our operation, if this is conducted properly the contract will progress efficiently and on schedule.

When we arrive to begin a survey the tenant is introduced to the team, the housing officer explains that they would like the tenant to look over the samples for selection while the MCN representative measures up the kitchen and bathroom and prepares rough drawings to show to the tenant the proposals for their approval. When the choices are made the tenant is then taken into the kitchen and bathroom where the proposed layout is explained to them in depth and approved by them. At this point the tenant is made aware of when the approximate installation date is, how long the installation will take, and we will explain what is required from them and advise them that we will be calling after the installation is completed to check that all we agreed on has been carried out to their satisfaction.
